A historic carriage house in the Hudson Valley renovated into a mixed-use building for commercial space, offices and a top floor apartment. Freeman recreated the original first floor structure to become a functional and beautiful space for an upscale cafe. The addition of copper detail on the outside facade and barn style doors opening to the renovated back patio modernized the building. In the top floor loft, the ceiling was left exposed adding an industrial feel to the gallery style space. From the first floor all the way the top, the attention to detail brought the owner’s vision to light.
